The descale indicator notifies you when descaling is necessary, guaranteeing peak performance of the iced coffee machine. Simply kickstart the cleaning procedure by adding descaling solution and holding down the OVER ICE button for 3 seconds. (Note: If the descale light illuminates while using the coffee maker for the first time, press the OVER ICE button for 3 seconds to cancel the alert.) The single cup coffee maker ensures safety by flashing all lights and preventing operation when the water reservoir is empty or the top lid is unlocked.

For a delicious iced coffee, start by following the recommended ratio for preparing grounds and ice, and then select the appropriate cup size. For instance, if you're aiming for a 12oz cup of iced coffee using ground coffee, place 12oz of ice in your mug and fill the basket filter with 0.8oz (22g) of grounds. Ensure the water reservoir has at least 12oz of water, select a cup size of 12oz, and press the 'Over Ice' option to create your refreshing iced coffee.

The water tank is empty, or the top cover does not close completely, causing all indicators to flash rapidly for 3 seconds, and the coffee pod maker cannot work after pressing any button. If the coffee maker is being used for the first time, press the OVER ICE button for 3s to cancel the alert. If the coffee maker has been in use for a while, the alert is a reminder to descale the unit. It is recommended to pour 16 oz of descaling solution into the water tank, which can be mixed with 20g/0.7 oz of citric acid and 16 oz of water. Press the OVER ICE button for 3s to initiate the descaling procedure. Regular descaling helps to prolong the service life of the single serving coffee maker.

Possible causes for no coffee or only a small amount of coffee dispensed include: an empty water tank, excessive buildup of mineral deposits, a clogged ground coffee filter, use of an unsuitable capsule, a clogged needle, or a malfunctioning machine. The coffee-making process may stop due to either the amount of water in the reservoir being less than the selected cup size, or the top cover being open. Coffee overflow from the brew holder can be caused by too much coffee grounds in the basket filter, ground coffee being too fine, a clogged ground filter, expired or clumped capsule, upper/bottom of the capsule not pierced by the needle, or unsuitability of the capsule.
